Whole Wheat Flat Bread

A simple fast bread for a winter's day or anyday

Try the goodness of whole wheat in a simple, easy fast bread. Its so easy to make, the kids can help. Its great with a curry.

Winter is a great time for baking bread. Here’s simple, fast rising no yeast no eggs bread dough. Have the kids help you make it. Its just perfect with curry. Its also made with whole wheat, so its wholesome with good carbohydrates.

· 2 cup whole wheat flour – well sifted

· 1 teaspoon salt

· 1 tablespoon olive oil

· 1 cup hot water

Combine all ingredients. Stir and then knead the dough until smooth. Let it rest for 30 minutes covered and away from drafts. Roll out the dough and then cut out with glass or cookie cutter circles or pat the circles into shape. Bake at 350 till done around 20 minutes.

Variation: For East Indian Chapattis, fry right after you roll them out in ¼ inch of oil. Or use the bread for pizza.
