First BBQ of the year!

We fired up the barbeque, beef spare ribs and grilled veggies.


It was a great night, my older daughters were over from the mainland, I didn't feel like being stuck in the kitchen so we had our first barbeque of the year. I had all ready made the potato salad Though the barbecue had been out in the rain and even a bit of snow all winter it still fired up, no problem. We gave the beef spare ribs and olive oil and salt rub. Put the barbeque on 500 and then prepared the vegetables - Portobello mushrooms, zucchini, red bell peppers, butternut squash and acorn squash. Excellent!
