Remember when kiwis were an exotic fruit? They all came from New Zealand. They cost $2.00 each. Kiwis is green and chocked full of great nutrients and vitamins. California was the first place I know of to start growing them. The price went down. And now it’s grown locally just about everywhere including where I live – Victoria BC Canada! I got a bag of six of these green gems for less than $2!
They are wonderful on top of pancakes in a fruit salad or as the finishing touch of an Anna Pavlova or any whipped cream concoction.
