You need food at a party but you can keep it simple.

Part of my series on Party Planning. Food. Keep it simple but have it.

Keep it simple. Not everything on the table has to be yours. You can buy or cater some of it. If it looks good, people will it. Presentation is important. Usually big plates, lettuce underneath and a bit of parsley will do the trick. Remember if the food doesn't look perfect it means it's home made.

The food should also reflect the theme and kind of party you are having.

It’s a good idea to have appetizers.

Always have salads:

Greek

Coleslaw

Potato Salad and rolls

Dessert can be fruit.
