We always get a bounty of squash here. Sliced and then cut in four pieces out of the round slice, it adds a little crunch to salads without being overpowering.

Never really thought of that. I do have squash as part of my Veggie on the Barbie article. Zuchninie is squash and its good with salads and just a bit of lemon.

I'll probably be doing more on squashes later in the summer.
